kick-off

This is a first for me. I never envisioned myself starting a blog, namely because I doubt I have that much to share, or at least that much content worth consuming. I guess I will let you be the judge of that.

The main purpose behind my musings is more of a journal of Mary's and my transition into adulthood, or at least the home owning version of extended adolescence (I am not quite ready to call myself an adult, lets just give it some time).
A little background:

• An end to our college careers is swiftly approaching.
  
• Full time employment with Pella Corporation is following on the heels of grad.
• We need a place to live, which is where the home owning part enters.
• A 100+ year home is in the process of being acquired (Closing in under a week)

Lets just see where that takes us. Hopefully I will post some pictures of the house soon (that last ones I took were a little over-exposed, oops!) and keep up to date on the process of turning a empty house into a home.
